Here is the method how to prepare this dish:

Ingredients:

2 cups vermicelli.
1 cup mixed sliced vegge's(carrot,beans,corn,peas).
3 sliced green chilli's.
1 small onion sliced.
1/2 tspn ginger/garlic paste.
1/2 tspn garam masala powder.
1/4 tspn turmeric powder.
salt to taste.
1 cup water.
4-5 mint leaves.

For Seasoning:
Oil.
1/2 tspn cumin seeds(jeera/jeelakaara).
3-4 curry leaves.
bay leaf (optional).

Fresh coriander leaves to garnish.

METHOD:

Take a meduim sauce pan and heat up the oil. When the oil is warm enough add cumin seeds and let it crack later add bay leaf and curry leaves. Later add the onion and green chilli and fry till golden brown,Now add the sliced vegge's and let it cook for few seconds. Add turmeric powder,ginger/garlic paste, garam masala powder, salt to the cooking veggi's and mix well.Later add water and let the water come to boil. when the water is boiling add vermicelli to the boiling water and let it cook for 2-3 minutes. Now remove from the stove and let it cool for a minute.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and few drops of lemon juice and serve it hot.

U can serve this with raita as a side dish.

Note: To make this dish look perfect after adding the vermicelli dont mix with the spoon that will hep u not to break the vermicelli,if u mix it till will become lumpy.

Tanuja,
VV Biryani looks yummy. I have tried to make this in the past however it ended up as a mushy mess. I tried to add the cooked veggies to the already cooked vermicelli..
Does cooking the vegetables along with vermicelli prevent the mushiness?

Hi Arjuna:

Yaa if u cook vegge's along with vermicelli u can prevent the mushiness, u see that u dont use more water to cook the vermicelli.
